Risotto is a dish made of rice and side dishes. On the hot oil, butter or fat fry the rice, then add attachments. Usually these are mussels, crabs, fish, mushrooms, meat, ham, and vegetables. After adding attachments, the rice is added to water or foundation (fish, meat or vegetables) in small amounts, spices and simmer about thirty minutes. Serve as an appetizer, main course or side dish.
